- An open mind to review the products or services
- *A mobile phone or computer with internet connectivity to complete your assignment
- The ability to write clear and concise reports in English that are grammatically correct
- Good skills in listening
- *A good memory to follow and recall instructions and detail
- The discipline and commitment to complete your assignment and your reports on time
- The ability to never disclose your assignment

Naturally the entire Mystery Shopper program and your payment is for the sole purpose of providing your confidential unbiased feedback of the product or services assignment.
You must never, under any circumstances, disclose your are a Mystery Shopper to anyone else.
The client paying for your assignment is relying on your privacy and discretion, to evaluate their staff, product or service. Mystery Shoppers who break this confidentiality will not be paid or offered further assignments.
Mystery Shoppers ask us this question the most frequently. When you submit your registration details and profile to assist us to match you with suitable assignments, we will contact you by phone and introduce ourselves to one another and to assess your eligibility for specific assignments.
We want to make sure that you have all your questions answered and you make a decision to join us to take on your first assignment with us.
Next step if you join us is to ensure we have your correct contact details, bank details (we need to pay you for your assignments), and a few things about yourself will be asked.
Becoming a Mystery Shopper does not require any formal training.
However, our mystery shoppers must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to differentiate great service from not good service.
Should you be offered an assignment, you will be required to accept or decline it within 24 hours.
Remember we do pay cash for each assignment you complete from start to finish.
We absolutely expect accurate English spelling, grammar and punctuation in what we consider a good report. In addition, if the question’s instructions request a detailed response it must be substantial and not just a one liner repeat of question.
You must follow instructions. If you do not follow the instructions and supply appropriate responses your feedback report will be returned by our team.
You will then need to correct the feedback report to our satisfaction so we can close off the assignment and direct our Accounts team to organise payment for you.
You must submit all feedback reports within 24 hours of the visit.
Our client’s expect feedback in a timely manner so they can make informed and time sensitive decisions to their business operations if required.
We independently review all feedback reports, and grade our mystery shoppers on several key criteria:
- The quality of their reports, meaning they have put in the time and effort and detail to give us a clear statement of what their assignment entailed
- The accuracy of their observations and comments and the little things and detail do count
- Spelling and punctuation as want to be able to convey accurately to our clients without having to fix their reporting
- The timeliness of report submission as we do not want to be chasing anyone for feedback reporting
As a result, the more assignments you complete, the more assignments you will be offered that are more interesting and highly paid.
You essentially become a top agent with us. That’s a good thing!
You must be able to clearly follow the instructions/brief that is provided to you.
You must remember what is said to you on your visit/meeting and be able to recall those specific details about your interaction and experience.
As our mystery shopper, you must be able to clearly communicate and articulate your experience in your reports and provide a very comprehensive and clear overview and commentary for our client’s benefit.
Each assignment has a specific cash payment depending on the specific requirements.
We will advise you of the amount you will receive before you accept and commit to completing the assignment.
This will be clearly communicated in writing to you so you fully understand the brief, the assignment details and the payment.
We will process Mystery Shopper payments every 15th of each month for the preceding months completed assignments.
This will be paid to your nominated bank account and an email informing you of payment made will be sent to you. We are not responsible for bank processing times, typically these are received overnight to most major Australian Banks.
Absolutely not. Unlike other mystery shopping groups, registering with us is free and there is no sign up fee.
We are also one of the few companies that pay our mystery shoppers in cash not in vouchers or gift certificates.
In short, you keep all the money from every completed assignment.
Assignments range from $30 to $150.
You do not require an ABN or Invoice as the ATO advises this is deemed a paid hobby and payments will be under the threshold to be subjected to the requirement of an ABN or GST.
Mystery Shoppers are generally paid within 5 business days from receipt of your assignment report.
Whilst we prefer to pay Mystery Shoppers in cash to a nominated Bank account, some Seniors prefer the option of receiving payment via gift cards or certificates from national brand retailers (eg. Coles, Woolworths, David Jones, Myers, BP, Shell, etc.)
